    Subject - Verb Agreement 

    Subject - Verb Agreement simply means between the subject and the verb must has alignment.
    The basic form of subject verb agreement is simple present tense with verb s / es for singular and without s / es and plural. It often use in past tense too.

    The example of Subject - Verb Agreement :

    1.He is walking
    (He is subject and is present verb)
    2.The Cat was eating
    (Cat is subject and was present verb)
    3.They like hanging out
    (They is subject and like was present verb)

    All of the sentences above are depend on the gramatical rules such as, the basic rule of gramar :

    1. Singular form : it,she,he ( use verb s / es ) to be : is, was,
    2. Plural form : I,you, they, we ( without s / es ) to be : are, were




    EXERCISE

    Choose the correct form of the verb in parentheses in the following sentences.

    1. John along with twenty friends, (is / are) planning a party.
